Corte Graff

 

“Corte” Self taught artist of the Chilean Street Art current, his work stands out for a constant search for written language through an elegant set of lines typical of the calligraphic study (Lettering). A graphic designer by profession and a graduate in Calligraphy and Lettering from the University of Chile, Cortegraff made his first mural at the age of 25, in 2015, and from then on his career has grown like foam: he began exhibiting in various urban art circuits in Chile together with R3sp3ct, a collective of Chilean urban artists of which he is a member. In 2019, he toured Switzerland for two months, painting outdoor murals. Since the beginning of 2020, he started collaborating with brands and art and decoration galleries from France, Turkey and the USA.

His work is part of the line of calligraffiti, art that is based on graffiti Street Art, on calligraphy and typography: that combination gives birth to scenes that are associated with abstract expressionism.
